Last but not least on our mini 2014 bucket list wine tasting of course! Living in California, the wine country, it is silly that we have never tried this fun activity! What better way to celebrate Sunday funday with tasting the art of grapes yourself at one of the many, many wine tasting locations all over California! So grab your girls, throw on a cute sun dress and head to one of these great locations to get your taste on!
We love a great glass of Riesling! What’s your wine of choice?
Fun fact alert: There is increasing scientific evidence that moderate, regular wine drinking can reduce risk of heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, stroke and gum disease. So get to tasting ladies! Doctor’s orders!
Everybody needs a vacation every once in awhile! What better way to spend time with your girls, see our beautiful country, and get away from this crazy thing we call life! Whether it’s a short trip to the beautiful Palms Springs or a long trip across country, a road trip is the best way to vacation. So grab the snacks and some friends, fill your gas tank, and follow the road where ever it might lead! We promise you will not regret taking this vacation!
P.S. Don’t forget the tunes!
Fun Fact Alert: According to several studies taking a vacation can improve creativity, reduce burnout or illness, improve job performance, relieve stress long term, and even improve bonds between friends. If that isn’t a reason to hit the road, I don’t know what is!
This one is a great one for those random days that you catch the crafty bug! This D.I.Y. is a fun activity that might just leave you with a great decor piece. All you need is some water balloons, a blank canvas, some paint (water based works best), and some darts. Fill the balloons with assorted paint colors and attach filled balloons to the canvas using strong tape or tacks. Now comes the fun part! Remember when you were at the fair as a kid and you would throw darts at balloons to win a giant stuffed animal? Do just that! Except this time you win a colorful painting to hang in your apartment! How awesome is that! This is probably the funnest way to be crafty we have ever heard of! Have fun you little Michael Angelos you!
Fun Fact Alert: The standard height for a dart board is between 7’6″ and 8′. So put your back into it guys and make a game out of it too!
We know, we live in California and we don’t know how to surf…..YET! Surfing is not only a fun and amazing activity but it great exercise! You can burn over 200 calories an hour by riding those waves. 2014 is the year to start crossing things off that bucket list of yours, if you haven’t already begun! Whether big or small it’s always amazing to try new things. First on our mini 2014 bucket list is skydiving of course! 80% of people admit to having skydiving on their bucket list. And why wouldn’t they? It is one of the most exhilarating, adventurous, and downright scariest things you can do! To freefall from thousands of feet in the air and get a birds-eye view of our beautiful world is a dream experience. The youngest person to ever partake in this amazing experience was 4 years old! Yup, thats right, 4 years old. So what are you waiting for? Cross this one off your 2014 bucket list, and be careful you may just become addicted!
